In a video shared on social media, frontman Perry Farrell is seen throwing a punch at guitarist Dave Navarro amid a heated altercation.

During the heated exchange, Farrell seemed to be shouting at Navarro before throwing a punch at him.
Security guards swiftly intervened, restraining Farrell and urging him to "stop" as they held him back to prevent further attacks on Navarro.
Despite this, Farrell, visibly enraged, tried to lunge at the guitarist again while Navarro held onto his arm.
Farrell’s wife, Etty Lau, later addressed the incident on her social media, providing her perspective on what had transpired.

"Instead of letting rumors spread, I wanted to share a firsthand account of what happened on stage with Jane’s Addiction last night at the Lender Pavilion in Boston," Lau wrote on her Instagram.
"There was obvious tension and animosity between the band members... the same energy that made the band so electric. Well, that spark turned into a fuse. Perry got in Dave’s face and body-checked him," she explained.
Lau explained that the altercation arose from Perry's dwindling patience, as his health had not been in the best shape leading up to the band's performance.
"Perry's frustration had been building night after night," Lau continued. "He felt that the stage volume was excessively loud, and his voice was being drowned out by the rest of the band."
She added, "Perry had been dealing with tinnitus and a sore throat each night. But when fans in the front row started complaining to him, cursing that the band was too loud and they couldn’t hear him, Perry snapped."
In her lengthy post, Lau also mentioned that Eric Avery, the band's founding bassist and co-songwriter, was the one who ultimately 'won the fight.'

"Eric walked up to Perry in the dark, put him in a headlock, and punched him in the stomach three times," Lau recounted. "Kevin, a crew member with long hair, stepped in and pulled Eric away. After that, Eric casually walked to the front of the stage and apologized to the audience for the show ending early."
She added that after the concert brawl, Eric managed to get "a few cheap shots in on Perry."
"Perry was like a crazed beast for the next half hour. He didn't calm down but eventually broke down and cried," she wrote.
